TRACK RULES
Driver and crewmembers will conduct themselves in calm and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
Interpretation of rules and decisions of speedway officials will be final in all cases.
Ignorance of rules will not be accepted as an excuse for their violation.
The management reserves the right to refuse entry to any car or person without question.
The driver alone will be the sole spokesman for their car owner in any and all matters pertaining to the race and must talk with the official in charge.
Open drinking of intoxicants in the pit area by drivers will not be tolerated. Offenders will be subject to immediate ejection from the premises.
The following activities will result in fines, loss of winnings and points, and be subject to suspension and arrest. Loud and abusive language toward track officials, Starting or engaging in a fight, Deliberate contact during caution laps or after the race has completed., Disorderly conduct will not be allowed at the pay-off window Subject any employee or official to improper or abusive language or profane signs, Any person found with any weapon on him or his vehicle is also subject to arrest. Penalty will be at the official’s discretion.
Any fines, suspensions, and/or protests must be settled with speedway management before a driver, car owner or crew member will be allowed to enter restricted area at another event.
Any cars entering race track other than at practice times allowed by flagman will be subject to action at discretion of flagman.
Any driver, car owner or crewmember going to the top of flag stand or tower without permission, to argue will be fined (minimum $150) at official's discretion.
Three features wins in a row in any division the driver or car must start his next race from the rear. Special events are the exception, and the following event will have the car starting from the rear. (The following classes will start in the rear after one win Street Stock 4 Renegade & Young Guns ) Special events are the exception for Street stock 4 & Renegade only. Young Guns have one exception the 4 cly. nationals
Car number must appear on roof and both sides to be scored.
Any situation not specifically covered by this rulebook will be acted upon by flagman; pit steward or management and decisions shall be final.
All cars must have chain in front and rear for hook up!
Five inch spoiler allowed in all classes.
Fire Retardant driver uniform, window net, helmet, five-point harness and fire extinguisher required. If caught at anytime without one of these items. You will not run that date and you will forfeit all points and money.
Turbo Blue 110 is track fuel and the only fuel. All fuel must pass track test and track decision will be final.
Drivers may compete in two divisions per night but no more than 2, except for late mode & Street Stock 4. Change of drivers after heats will start in rear of main or will be disqualified. No exceptions!
A car is only allowed to compete in one division per night.
Any and all items not cover in these rules are non-protest items.
All prize money must be picked up at payoff window following day or night's racing activity. Failure to pick up money on night of race will result in forfeit of winnings. No exceptions.
Stock means that you cannot modify this part. (If the rules don’t say you can then you can’t.)
The rules are configured to support different racetracks and what may be good at one track may not be good at another. As deemed necessary, the rules may be altered and/or changed to suit the track and/or the officials
The track reserves the right to promote any driver up at any time with out prior notice


Pre Race Process


Attendance by drivers at drivers' meetings is mandatory.
Visual protests (requiring no measurements whatsoever) must be presented to Pit Steward in writing before feature line-up commences. No visual protests taken after track announcer has made call for cars to come to starting line.
All drivers must be ready to compete in the event for which they are scheduled. When the first car comes to the staging area, if you are not in line up when cars come out on the track you will start where you come out
All Drivers must have a working RaceCeiver when on track!
Race Process
After the race starts the flagman is in full control and his decisions will be final.
The Flagman has final word on any on-track activities.
Any driver stopping before the completion of the first lap to bring out the caution will be put to the rear or penalized a lap at the discretion of flagman.
Any car (s) that is involved in any accident that brings out red or yellow flag will be lined up in the rear of the field. (This does not include cars that stop to keep from hitting the other cars.)
STARTS – All initial starts are double file, beginning off of turn four (4). Inside driver sets the pace. It is the outside driver’s responsibility to stay beside him. The race will be started on the raceceiver ! (Jumping starts will put you to the rear.)
RE-STARTS – Restarts are done off turn four (4) on the raceceiver starting the race. Drivers jumping starts like passing before you get to the cone (or line) or going below cone (line) will be put in the rear.
Any cars not on the track when “okay” sign comes out will start at rear.
MULTI-CAR WRECK ON FIRST LAP: All cars get their spot back. Single car spin will go to rear. Any cars going to pit will go to rear.
No work can be done on racecar on the track. No tools allowed on track. No crew is allowed on the track, ever!
Any driver stopping on track and exiting car to argue with officials for any reason will be penalized at track official's discretion.
In the event that two or more cars cross the finish line at the same time, the car next to the infield can be declared the winner.
No car can receive any assistance from another car during the last lap of the race.
Any car stopping on the track deliberately will be penalized one lap for the infraction.
Rough driving will be dealt with through fines and/or suspensions.
No crewmembers on track without track official’s permission.
Race back to the checkered flag only. (Green and yellow lights on means race back.) If the track is blocked or driver’s life in danger, we will go back for green, white, and checkered.
Lap traffic must stay to inside of speedway. (Any cars trying to hold up leaders will be black-flagged.)
Any car charged with three (3) unassisted cautions will be black-flagged.
Lower divisions such as Street Stock 4 and Renegade will race under enduro rules. Cautions are shown only when track is blocked or drivers life in danger
Bringing out the caution to stop from going a lap down will be scored one (1) lap down. Track official decisions are final.

Post Race Process

Top three cars must cross scales in order of finish for inspection after heats and features.
Only driver or owner may protest. Protesting driver must compete in race in question to file protest. All protests must be received by Chief Pit Steward and have his approval. Spite protests and protests done in an unsportsman-like manner will not be considered. If protested, driver may back pull protesting car only. Only cars in front of drivers finish position in order may be protested. Official’s decision is final.
All other protests must be presented to Pit Steward, in writing, within five minutes of the winner of the feature race crossing the scales. Protest must be accompanied by protest fee. Back protests must be made within five minutes of notification that car been protested.
Driver of cars found illegal will forfeit points and money earned for entire race night.
The Pit Steward has final word on any rule or protest.
Scoring protests must be made after the completion of all night's racing. Scoring protests will only be done in an orderly manner. NO ARGUING! Any disorderly conduct will result in disqualification and/or suspension.
Scale area is off limits to pit crews during official weighing. Please exit scale area after car has been pushed onto scales. No car will be weighed until area has been cleared.
Point system for the all divisions will be as follows:
Winner receives 100 points per race. (Points will be awarded to driver only)
Each person through the felid drops 2 points, for each position (100, 98, 96, etc.)
Any car protested and found illegal will forfeited all points for the night.
If a tie for a position were to happen, the tie would be broken in the following way.
(A) Most wins, (B) Most top 5 finishes, (C) Most top 10 finishes
If a tie still exists, the money for the position and the following position will be divided equally.
Points start with the first race in April & will end the first week in Oct.
Double point races will be announced in advance.
 

PROTEST RULES

After protest has been filed and money has been put up, will not be returned for any reason. Protest cannot be taken down once it is filed; this is to avoid swapping money. Which is unfair to rest of field.
For protest money to go to car that has been protested, he must tear down and be checked and found legal.
Protests or questions will be made by driver only.
To protest any car in the field, you must finish directly behind them or protest all cars between.
Protested car may back pull protesting car.
All protests must be submitted to the Tech man within five (5) minutes after the first car has crossed the scales.
Driver filing protest is all that will be allowed in protest area other than security and track officials.
All visual protests must be made in the same manner, as other protests except they have to be made 15 minutes before the race in which they are to compete. Cost is $25. Bodies are not protest item and will be governed by track.
Cost of protest in all divisions: two (2) items $300 top only. One protest per car per night this is to stop any spite protest. (But may pull fuel also) Acceptance fee is $100 for protest. The protested car to accept the protest will put up this fee. If found to be legal, acceptance fee will be returned along with protest money minus TECH fee ($100). This money goes to the track. If illegal acceptance fee goes to track. Money and points will be forfeited.
Protested cars have (5) minutes to accept or refuse protest. If he or she accepts the protest, parts must be ready for inspection within one (1) hour. (Techman discretion)

Division: Young Guns


This is a class designed for 10 to 17 year olds and any women up to 65 and will remain close to stock as possible and the track reserves the right to promote any driver up at any time with out prior notice
1. Body: Stock auto only must meet drawings provided by track on web site or at the track. Inter panel may be removed; must have stock front firewall in stock location and floor pan. Must have rear firewall or driver compartment must be boxed in. Rear of car must be closed (No holes or flaps) and Aluminum doors and fenders okay; must retain stock shape and appearance; aftermarket nose okay. Must run hood; must run rear deck lid. May have 2 ½” hood scoop must be boxed in. No ground effects or skirts NO WEDGE BODIES!
2. Chassis: Must have roll cage and all safety equipment cage must be secured to unibody; may tie chassis together on top of floor pan only.
3. Suspension: Must be stock suspension. No screw jacks. Lowering blocks OK; (springs must be in stock location). May run spring buckets, caster and camber plates OK. May cut A frame for caster & camber, Steel body non adjustable Racing shocks or struts OK; must be in stock location on stock mounts. NO heims. May change pinion angle by cutting rear top control arm only. Bushings may be steel or nylon. Pan hard bar may be cut but must have stock ends.
4. Rear End: Any stock up to 7.5" for make of car; NO lightening allowed. Gear must have factory production # or logo. May lock bt welding NO spools. NO gun drilled axles. Axles subject to compare to known stock. Housing cannot be modified for gear clearance.
5. Brakes: Stock for make of car; may have racing pedals with one master cylinder ; NO adjustment, all four wheel working brakes. NO drilled rotors or drums lightened on the outside.
6. Wheels: Any steel up to 7". May be reinforced. Large wheel studs okay. Bead lock will be allowed on right rear only.
7. Tires: 60 or 70 series across the counter street tire. NO racing recaps of any style.
8. Drive shaft: 1 1/2" OD or larger steel. Must be painted white with car number on it.
9. Transmission: Stock. Must have all working gears. Must have safety loop.
10. Flywheel: Stock must weigh 16 pounds no scalloped flywheel. Must have stock or stock replacement clutch and pressure plate.7.5 “Min. (May balance with weld or drill holes only and must be outside of clutch disc ring) Studs for pressure plate ok. Cannot relocate bolt hole pattern.
11. Engine Location: Stock. NO engine set back!
12. Fuel: Must pass track test. Fuel tank must be mounted inside of trunk. (Turbo Blue 110 only!).
13. Weight: 1 pound per CC, (2000 lb minimum) Car's CC must be posted on hood. Must have correct CC for the engine you are running. Formula for cc's Bore x Bore x .7854 x Stroke 4 = cid. Then divide by .061. (Tech man will allow 5cc's for wear only).
14. Engine Specs: No rotary or turbo or double OHC permitted (NO vacuum Pumps).
* Block: OEM only .080 over bore maximum.
* Crank: Stock Crank. Stock stroke. No knife edging or lightening of any kind allowed. Main or rod journals can’t be turned more than .040” under stock.
* Rods: any Steel must be Stock length for engines
* Piston: Any flat top. Toyota 1800 may run dome of .235" max. 20R may run dome of .125" max.
* Oil pan: Any wet.
* Heads: OEM can be changed from one size engine to another. May have competition valve job, Valve guide boss must remain stock. All angles must be concentric with valve guide. No bowl cut allowed
* Valve: Any steel valve stock diameter under cut stem OK.
* Valve Springs: Single spring with or without damper; no doubles must be steel.
* Retainers: Any steel.
* Cam: Max Lift .425" with .025" lash at valve for solid and 0 lash for hydraulic, no rollers.
* Lifter: Stock and diameter. Solid OK.
* Intake: OEM only; may be bored or cut. No radius or blending. No fuel injection manifolds
Water Pump No electric.
* Fuel Pump: Stock or electric.
* Carburetor: Stock 4 cylinder carburetor for make of car. Must have air horn with #, may cut end of screw, No thinning of shafts, No grinding or polishing. Float bowl must face towards front of car.
Spacer: 1600 &1800 can run ½ adapter for 22r carb. 2 gasket only @.070 max thick each
Adapter: Can run Stock adapter for carburetor with 2 gaskets only @ .070" max thickness each or may run 1 stock gasket with out adapter.

* Header: Stock cast iron exhaust manifold only.
* After one win driver or car must start his next race from the rear. Special events are no exception, (except the 4 cyl.. Nationals the only race per year) and the following event will have the car starting from the rear.

Division: Renegade V8 Stock Autos only

Except as stated!!!
1. Any American made car. No, jeeps, 4x4, station wagons. Minimum wheel base 101" with a maximum of 114". Camaros ok must be stock chassis
2. Only hulling allowed is what is required to install roll cage. Must have rear firewall. (Hood & trunk may be hulled).Fender wells may be cut for tire clearance. Front and rear inner fenders may be removed
3. Aluminum Radiator OK.
4. Fender wells may be cut for tire clearance.
5. Front and rear inner fenders may be removed.
6. Fuel cell mandatory.
7. All glass and chrome must be removed.
8. Suspension must be stock. May run racing spring’s adjustable buckets OK. One 2" lowering block maximum each Side. Top A frame may be cut for caster and camber top a arm only may be tube non adjustable. Bushing may be steel or nylon.
9. Positive traction, limited slip, or locked rear ends allowed.
10. Racing pedals Ok allowed with only 1 Master cylinder..
11. Axle after market allowed for safety. NO gun drilled axels.
12. Transmission Automatic or 3 speed. Must be stock for make and model of car. Must have working torque converter must be stock Size no smaller than 11". May run transmission cooler. (But cooler can't be in driver compartment).Add 100pounds for Straight drive 3 speed cast iron stock only $200 buy rule Stock flywheel (no less than 10 1/2", must weigh 14 lbs.) Clutch and pressure plate must be stock
13. Engine stock for make not over 365 C.I. (no clevelands) or GM crate motor part # 88958602 (with stock location mounts steel ok).
14. Carburetor stock only may remove choke flap. Or a 650 Holley # 4777must pass track gauges. May use a 1" max thickness adapter if using Holley carb on Q-jet intake with two .070" thick max gaskets only. (NO spacer allowed on crate engine or Holley pattern factory intakes).
15. Rear end must be stock, 10 or 12 bolt GM rear ends legal. (NO lightening allowed.) Spool OK
16. Street tire Any 70 series. Wheels and tires max with 8".

25. Valve size - Maximum 1.94 intake, 1.5 exhausts for Chevrolet, and other makes will remain stock size for model. Stainless steel only under cut ok
26. Cam must be OEM maximum lift .425 for Chevrolet; others will be .435 maximum lift. (Stock Dia. Spring. Steel retainer only)
27 Crank: Stock with GM part # with stock stroke Or Eagle # 103503480 Scatt # 9-10442 or 9-10526. May balance (drill hole or weld). 52 pounds minimum weight (cast crank 48 pounds). NO polishing or lightening of counterweights or throws. (For performance gain tech man discretion.) all cranks must be as casted.
28 Rods: Stock steel rods 5.7 or stock length for engine (Scat 3-ICR5700P, 3-ICR5700, 2-ICR5700P, 2-ICR5700 or eagle SIR5700BBLW or SIR5700BPLW stock rod) floating pins ok.
29. Weight - 3400 lbs with driver after race. (602 crate3000)

30. Maximum .060 overbore.
31. Exhaust - Stock cast iron manifolds for make or headers ok. Header: Any standard 4 into one collector 1 5/8" Max primary size, no stepped headers. Pipe behind collector or manifold must be same size as collector with nothing in the pipe, no Mufflers allowed. (NO merge style or tri-y headers or collectors allowed).
32. Fuel - Turbo blue 110 only! Must pass track test. Fuel cell must be mounted inside of trunk

UNDERHOOD VISUAL PROTEST: $50 straight fee to look for after market intake and header size. (After heats only).
ENGINE CLAIM: (crate engines only): Claimer rule on motor of $2950 track will keep $50.

* If more than one person claims the winner the driver finishing the farthest back gets 1st choice.

* Ignition: Stock. Mel’s ignition ok.

Rear of car must be closed (No holes or flaps) and Aluminum doors and fenders okay; must retain stock shape and appearance; aftermarket nose okay. Must run hood; must run rear deck lid. May have 2 ½” hood scoop must be boxed in. No ground effects or skirts NO WEDGE BODIES!
2. Chassis: Must have roll cage and all safety equipment cage must be secured to unibody; may tie chassis together on top of floor pan only.
3. Suspension:Must be stock suspension. No screw jacks. Lowering blocks OK; (springs must be in stock location). May run spring buckets, caster and camber plates OK. May cut A frame for caster & camber, Steel body non adjustable Racing shocks or struts OK; must be in stock location on stock mounts. NO heims. May change pinion angle by cutting rear top control arm only. Bushings may be steel or nylon. Pan hard bar may be cut but must have stock ends.
4. Rear End: Any stock up to 8.8" for make of car may lighten ring gear and carrier only. No gun drilled axels. Axels subject to compare to known stock. May lock by welding. No spools. Housing cannot be modified for gear clearance.
5. Brakes: All 4-wheel stock working brakes for make of car; No drilled rotors or drums lightened on the outside; any pedals. No adjustments in reach of driver.
6. Wheels: Any steel 7". May reinforced. Large wheel studs okay. Bead lock will be allowed on right rear only.
7. Tires: Hoosier 23.0" or 22.5 x 215 RC4 only.
8. Drive shaft: 1 1/2" OD or larger. Any steel. Must be painted white, with car number on it.
9. Transmission: Stock for make, may lighten, must have forward & rear working gears, Must have safety loop.
10. Flywheel: Stock flywheel allowed must weigh 16 lb. (May balance with weld or drill holes only and must be outside of clutch disc ring) Must have stock or stock replacement clutch and pressure plate 7.5 “ Min. Studs for pressure plate OK. Cannot relocate bolt hole pattern. Scalloped cut ok
11. Engine Location: Stock. No engine set back!

Piston: Any flat top. Toyota 1600 & 1800 may run dome of .267" tall only.
Oil Pan: Any wet.
Heads: OEM may be changed from one size engine to another. May have competition valve job, any angle, and any depth. Valve guide boss must remain stock. All angles must be concentric with valve guide.
Valve: Any steel valve stock diameter may be undercut stem.
Valve Springs: Doubles OK. Must be steel.
Retainers: Any steel.
Cam: Max Lift .425" with .025" lash at valve for solid and 0 lash for hydraulic.
Lifter: Stock diameter (Solid OK).
Intake: OEM only; may bore straight down for clearance, no radius or

Under hood visual: $50 straight fee to look for carb # and spacer thickness. (After Heats Only!).

Division: Limited Sportsman / Super Stock Eight

1. Body: Any full size American car or truck, Top & Quarters must be stock looking doors & fenders may be aluminum must have full steel floor pan. Must have rear firewall, may start at rear of driver seat to top of rear window. Driver compartment may be boxed in. Rear of car must be closed, no holes or flaps, Can cut for tire clearance & can remove inside wheel wells. Push bars must be behind grill. Rubber nose OK. Solid mounts OK. Cars must remain stock appearing. May have 8 inch self-supporting spoiler, no side spoiler, no wings, rubbers, air scoops or anything that alters the stock appearance of the car will not be allowed. Hood and trunk straps permitted. (May run hole in hood for breather). Firewall may be cut or moved due to engine location but must be full from side to side. Camaros must be pre 81
2. Chassis: Must have roll cage, and all safety equipment. Cage must secure to unibody, all cars frame may be tied together under floor pan. Wheel base stock (2" tolerance).T&L type cassis may run Camaro body must be pre 81 and must run 602 crate motor
3. Suspension: Must be stock. Screw jacks OK on rear only. Lowering blocks OK. Adjustable cups OK. May cut top A-frames to adjust camber & caster (top a-arm only may be tube non adjustable). Stock perches, must be in stock location spindle savers ok steel or nylon bushing ok. Steel body non adjustable racing shocks OK, may relocate rear only. Heim joints OK on shocks only. May cut rear top control arm only to adjust pinion angle. NO coil over type adjustments. No Mono balls Allowed.
4. Rear End: May run 9" Ford. Floater legal. Disc brakes legal.
5. Brakes: Stock caliper for make and type of car disc OK (NO 4 piston calipers) any pedals; adjusters OK.
6. Wheels: Any steel 8" maximum. Large wheel studs okay. Bead locks on right side only.
7. Tires: Stock tires ,Any Hoosier Med & rc4 Or American Racer .265 med. (8. 5 inch maximum width)
8. Drive shaft: Any steel 1 1/2" or larger. Must be painted white, with car number. Must have safety loop.
9. Transmission: Must be stock with at least one forward & rear working gear .
10. Flywheel: Stock flywheel (no less than 10 1/2", must weigh 14 lbs.) Clutch and pressure plate or triple disc clutch is OK (no smaller than 5.5"). NO single disc.
11. Engine Location: # one sparkplug in line or in front of top ball joint. 0 tolerance.
12. Fuel: Must pass track test (Turbo Blue 110 ONLY!) Fuel tank must be mounted inside of trunk.
13. Weight: 3200 after race. Crate engine cars will get a 300 pound weight break for 604. T&L Type cars with 602 will weight 2700
14. Engine Specs: Must match make of car, Chevrolet for Chevrolet, Ford for Ford, ECT. 365 Max cid. Or GM crate motor

Piston: Any flat top Eyebrows legal.
Oil Pan: Stock, may modify any oil pan. Wet Only!
Heads: Stock cast iron OEM, NO Bowtie, Vortex or angle plug heads, may run Double hump. Competition valve job permitted, any angle any depth, all angles must be concentric with valve guide, May have .750-hand blend from top of 45 degree 7/8 will be wrong. Screw in studs and guide plates OK! Roller Rockers are permitted.
Valve: Any stock diameter, steel valve permitted. Valve may have under cut stem 2.02" (intake) and 1.6" (exhaust) valve sizes are allowed.
Valve Spring: Any steel. Single or double.
Retainers: Any steel valve spring retainers allowed.
Cam: Hydraulic or Mechanical .500" lift max. Hydraulic checked with zero lash and mechanical check with .025" lash. Any Hydraulic or solid flat tappet lifter. Stock diameter only!
Lifter: Stock diameter NO roller lifter.
Intake: OEM Bowtie cast iron intake, or any aluminum, as casted NO modifications.
Fuel Pump: Stock only.
Carburetor: 650 Holley (# 4777) OK (NO 4 corner idle screws) May run a 2” Spacer with no more than 2 .070” thick gasket.
Ignition: Stock, may have chip. Any wires (No MSD Boxes Allowed)

Engine will be received with accessories as supplied from GM.

Division: Late Model

Late Models will run by Southern all star EAST rules with the following rule changes.
Tires: Hoosier 1300 (d11), 1350 (21) or1600 (d 55)
Weight: 2300 pounds after race (one pound per lap burn off in main only) limited legal cars will have a 200 # weight break and a 12” spoiler.

City Late Models

1. Body: All body rules will be like SAS. Late model rules but will have a 3" min from all max. Measurements. Rear of car may be open, not extend over 76 inches, which is maximum width. Rear Bumper may not extend past 1/2 width of rear tire, or may have 90 degree turn and stay within rear quarter. Front push bar is not to exceed width of chassis, may brace. Rear spoiler 8 inch max 604 up to 12” on 602 (NO Tolerance) and 45" maximum height from ground 604 and 602 49”on 602. See diagram. There will be 1 - inch tolerance on all body parts. You may run Ford, GM, Dodge or ECT..
2. CHASSIS & SUSPENSION: MINIMUM 104" WITH 1" TOLERANCE. YOU MAY USE A STOCK FRAME OR UNIBODY OR STOCK FRONT SNOUT AND TUBING REAR. STOCK FRAMES MUST USE STOCK LOWER A FRAMES. Carburetor Claim:
Claimer rule on Carburetor $750. Track will keep $50 Winner only may be claimed.
Only driver on the same lap can be claim winner.
If more than one person claims the winner the driver finishing the farthest back gets 1st choice.
Track will over see all claims any unsportsman like conduct will not be tolerated. No grudge claims will be allowed. All motors claimed will be inspected, broke bolts or any other sabotaged parts and will be handled with fines or ejection from the track and forfeit all Money and points.
NO driver can claim or swap more that 5 times in one season
Claim Refusal:
1st refusal you will forfeit all points and money
2nd refusal you will forfeit all points and money with 2 weeks suspension and a $200 fine that must be paid before you can return.
3rd refusal you will forfeit all points and money with 6 weeks suspension and a $1000 fine that must be paid before you can return. Note: Points loss will affect driver; suspension and fines will affect car and car owner
PROTEST: (Two things only) $300 with track retaining $100.
Crate motor protest will be as follows $800 Track will keep $200 we will look at top end and bottom end of the engine anyone caught wrong on any item that requires tampering with the seals (Head, Cam, Crank and ect.) will be thrown out of the class for the rest of the year.

PROTEST: Top End Only $150 Straight fee to look for Rocker arms, push rod, valve spring, Carb. Spacer scope intake, Heads & Top of piston & Ect.
